Canva Print Shop Review: My New Business Cards

When most people think of Canva, they think of social media posts, presentations or the odd flyer – not business card printing.

What many don’t realise is you can design and print without ever leaving Canva.

At Canva Create 2026, Canva gave its printing experience a bit of a glow-up with the new Print Shop*, making it even easier to order everything from business cards to posters, stickers and invitations—all from the same place you created them.

I finally bit the bullet and ordered a fresh batch of business cards, so I thought I’d share why I chose Canva Print Shop and whether I’d recommend it.

Why Print with Canva?

This is probably the biggest selling point.

If you’ve already designed your business cards in Canva, there’s no exporting PDFs, uploading files somewhere else or worrying whether your bleed settings are correct. I’ve spoken to plenty of printers over the years who sigh the minute someone says, “I designed it in Canva.” Printing directly through Canva removes a lot of that stress for everyone.

Everything stays inside Canva.

Design it.

Proof it.

Print it.

Done.

For anyone who likes keeping life simple (guilty!), that’s a huge win.

More Than Just Business Cards

Most people think Canva only prints business cards. It doesn’t.

Depending on where you live, you’ll find products across categories including:

  • Marketing materials
  • Business cards and stationery
  • Documents
  • Office and gifting
  • Stickers and packaging
  • Apparel

Availability varies by country, so you’ll see slightly different products depending on where you’re ordering from. It’s also not available everywhere just yet, but Canva continues to expand the range.

A Few Reasons I Chose Canva Print Shop

Well, I’ve been using Canva since 2014, so choosing Canva probably wasn’t the biggest surprise! But there were a few things that tipped the scales for me.

  • Free standard delivery if you’re happy to wait a few days (or you can pay for faster shipping).
  • No minimum order quantity, which is always handy.
  • Happiness Guarantee. If you’re not happy with the print, Canva says it’ll refund, reprint or offer a coupon.
  • One Print, One Tree. Canva plants a tree for every print order, so your purchase gives something back too.

Those little touches make a difference.

So, How Did They Turn Out?

Time for an honest review.

First impressions? They arrived in a nice recycled cardboard box… although actually getting into it was another story! I genuinely ended up reaching for a knife because I couldn’t work out how it opened. A simple “Pull Here” tab would make all the difference. Maybe I just got a dud box?

Inside was another cardboard box containing my 150 minimalist business cards. The cards feel great, the print quality is excellent, and the matte finish was definitely the right choice for me.

My design isn’t exactly a showstopper—and that’s intentional. What it is, is a conversation starter. When I’m networking, I can explain where the QR code takes people. If someone finds my card later, I’m hoping curiosity gets the better of them and they scan it to see what I’m all about.

Could I have found cheaper business cards elsewhere? Absolutely. But that’s not really the point. For me, the appeal of Canva Print Shop is the simplicity. I designed the cards, clicked print, and a few days later they arrived. No exporting PDFs. No checking bleed settings. No faffing about with another print company.

My only real disappointment—apart from the packaging—was that I couldn’t choose rounded corners with the premium paper. Is it a deal-breaker? Absolutely not. I just think they would have suited this design perfectly.

Overall, I’d happily give Canva Print Shop 4 out of 5 stars. It won’t always be the cheapest option, but for convenience, quality and keeping everything under one roof, it’s hard to beat.

Final Thoughts

If you’re already designing in Canva, it makes perfect sense to at least consider printing there too.

Keeping everything in one place saves time, removes a few technical headaches and means you can go from idea to finished product without hopping between multiple websites.

From design to doorstep in just a few clicks. That’s exactly what Canva Print Shop should be.

Have you tried Canva Print Shop? I’d love to know what you’ve had printed and whether you’d recommend it.
