What We’ll Cover + Your Takeaways

  • Every session is unique and will cover all the essential Canva basics
  • If you book out the whole session (up to 8 people) I will ensure we cover exactly what your group/team needs
  • We start ensuring your brand kit is set up (whether you’re on the FREE or Pro version)
  • Next we walk through the Canva dashboard (templates, text, photos, videos, audio etc)
  • You’ll learn how to start a design from scratch or by using one of Canva’s professionally designed templates
  • We work on a little on a graphic or presentation, to demonstrate Canva’s real time collaboration
  • At the end a formal Q&A

The benefit of choosing me as your Canva tour guide, is that I’ve got eight years of Canva experience. Throughout the session, I offer tips and tricks, share my recommendations and provide aftercare support.

Canva Training FAQS:

How much does your business training cost?
Prices are going up this Spring (when the new landing page is live). Right now training starts at £299 per person for up to 8 people. (Additional attendees will incur a slight increase for each person).

Do you deliver 1-2-1 sessions? Though I have been doing groups and 121 training for a few years, I am changing my focus just to be on group training (staff, charities, teams etc). Up to around 10 people* (but can scale if needed, so will the price). While, yes, I can deliver bespoke 1-2-1 Canva training but the cost would be slightly higher – £350 per person.

How do you deliver your training? Currently all Canva training is delivered 100% online, world wide, over Zoom. In person training is also an option, but needs to be on a case-by-case basis due to travel requirements. Reach out to discuss that.

How long does a session last?

The sessions typically last two to three hours (around half a day). (As it is live, it can vary depending on skill levels and questions etc.)

If more detailed support is needed, it could even stretch to a full day (for an additional day rate).

When do you deliver your training?

My training is flexible. I work 7 days: morning, afternoon and evening).

Do you record your training?

My sessions aren’t recorded, but I do offer a take away presentation (branded with your brand colours and logo) for reference. The presentation includes some screenshots but more importantly it contains many valuable resources, links, tutorials etc.

Do you provide any support after the session?

Anyone who’s had Canva training, with me specifically, can join a private FB group. It’s there solely to provide aftercare. So if you get stuck with anything after the session, I am there for you to help still. Alternatively if people don’t want to join that group, I do give my email address. In other words, once the training is done, I am still here for the odd bit of support.

Free Canva Training for People in Scotland

If you’re in Scotland, I deliver a few webinars for Business Gateway which are approximately two hours and 100% FREE. If you’re outside of Scotland, you might consider checking out my Canva Thea’s Youtube Playlist where I post clips that are usually two or three minutes.

I also have a playlist for other people’s Canva tutorials and updates.

If you would like me to make a tutorial for you to demonstrate something in Canva then please feel free to get in touch. I am only too happy to help by demonstrating something briefly at no cost.
