Just Discovered Some New Frames in Canva

This will be a super quick post about the new frames in Canva that I just discovered this weekend. I was actually searching for “San Francisco” under elements because I was wanting to make a vintage poster (after watching this Crafty Stax video).

So there I was looking for maybe a free icon of the Golden Gate Bridge or something when I discovered something I had not seen before…Lower case letters. Not just a few but many – serif and sans serif font frames in both upper case and lower case. I did a little happy dance too.

So I am not sure how many different font types there are but there were quite a few.

Floral Rimmed New Frames in Canva

So in addition to the lovely letters (uppercase/lower case font frames), I discovered some other floral rimmed frames in Canva too. These are just so sweet. I believe they’ll add something super sweet to some social media posts especially.

So…what do you think of the floral rimmed new frames in Canva? I really like them and look forward to giving them a try.

Cool Geometric Frame Shapes

So in addition to those above, I also was really delighted to see some cool geometric frame shapes. Some were clouds, suns, stars, arches and others were castle-esque. I love the variety that Canva provides with the frames (and everything really).

Here’s a tutorial from Sunday!

I’ve discovered even more since recording this one!

Summary:

Well, that is about it for this week. I just wanted to share what I had discovered at like 1am yesterday morning. If I hadn’t already been tucked up in bed, I’d have been doing a real happy dance with those new frames in Canva – especially the letter frames. To be honest I scrolled for days and didn’t even see them all, so there’s eve more to discover. Which are your favourite types? Let me know in the comments…and remember as ever, “any time you see the cloud and the fields – three things can happen 1) you can make them a solid colour, 2) you can add a photo – either your own uploaded or one of Canva’s and 3) you can throw a video in”. That’s what I say ever training session. Go have fun guys and gals! .

By the way if you want to give a wee test drive to Canva Pro, you get 45-days here.

PS: May the 4th be with you. Until next time….I’m Thea saying see ya!
