Since 2020, I’ve been teaching people in small groups and one-on-one how to create books in Canva and self-publish them on Amazon KDP, all in one session.
In our training session, I will guide you through my process of creating and self-publishing your physical book using Canva and Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) platform.
Your Pre-Training Homework
The first part of our training is actually homework that I send you before our session. It includes things you need to think about and research before our actual training begins. This preparation saves time and ensures we make the most of our session.
Canva is First Up
Our Canva training comes first. In the initial part of our session, we will set up your book’s cover and interior (manuscript). I’ll walk you through what to do, what not to do, and important considerations. What you’ll create in our session will be a “draft” cover and interior, not the final versions you’ll submit. Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing
Once we have your rough drafts of the cover and interior, we’ll head over to Amazon KDP to walk through the steps of submitting your book. I’ll guide you on what to do and avoid, discussing descriptions, keywords, pricing, and making recommendations along the way.
Follow-Up & Resources
I am available via Zoom or WhatsApp to answer questions when you’re ready to submit the final versions of your book cover and interior.
Additionally, I will send a follow-up document with valuable resources, tools, and links.

| Why should I book with you? |
| Experience really. With over ten years of Canva experience and over 200 books self-published, I began teaching others how to do the same in 2020. This is an exclusive service that I haven’t marketed much. Clients have primarily been word of mouth. |
| How long does the training last? |
| Each session lasts between two and three hours, depending on skill levels, questions and your preparedness. |
| How do you deliver your training? |
| I deliver this training via Zoom or in person, depending on your preference and location. Willing to travel anywhere but it’ll cost you! 🙂 |
| How often do you do the training? |
| This is truly a VIP offer. I only offer two slots a month, which can be booked any day. (You may need to message me for a weekend slot or if you need a different time slot). |
| I only need 1/2 of the training (Canva or Amazon KDP) |
| That’s no problem. I can do half a session for whichever part you need help with… |
| Do I need to have the book finished to book the service? |
| No, in fact, in some ways, it’s better you don’t have too much design time invested! |
| How much does it cost to self-publish a book? |
| It’s FREE to create and self-publish a book using my route to publishing. However, my training itself costs ÂŁ695 ($750 USD). |
| Do I need Canva Pro? |
| No, what I teach can be done with the FREE Canva account. However, I always recommend Canva Pro for its additional features.

I have some questions – can we speak before I book?
Sure, I offer two types of calendar links:
- A quick FREE 15-minute clarity call to ask a few questions only.
- A 45-minute strategy session costing ÂŁ95, which will be deducted from the full training session fee if you decide to book. This is to reduce “pick your brains” sessions. This is not training but a strategy session where I answer questions and offer bespoke consulting.
I don’t want training, can you just do it for me?
Yes, I offer done-for-you services in book setup. As you will appreciate, we’d need to have a conversation about your book project in order to offer a quote.

Hi there,
I have some wordsearch books on Amazon already. Do you have a Reedsy account or other, for converting KDP files over to Kindle interactive? I understand that I can learn it here but I don’t like Canva and at the moment I’m actually coming out of recovery from an accident and preparing to go back to work.

No I don’t and don’t know what you mean by Kindle Interactive? Do you mean content for things like the Kindle Scribe? What kinds of books are you publishing? I hope you’re right as rain soon!
