Thea’s Top Social Shares (of Late)

Thea's Top Social Shares so far...

Update 2022: Checking links, photos etc.

Thea’s Top Social Shares

So last night, a gentleman made a comment about “weekends” at a networking event I attended last night, to which I replied “you get weekends?”  What are those Seriously though, such is the life of an SME. It’s Friday night, firecrackers are going off outside my window (for the third time this week), here I am scouring the Internet – both for content I can share on social media, and for ideas for my Linkedin talk at next week’s New Start Scotland Exhibition.

Then I thought it was time I updated a blog. It’s so much easier to tell people WHY they should be blogging for business (to highlight expertise, to help with search engine rankings etc) than it is to actually DO blogging – consistently and well…

The first of my “top social shares” was shared by a friend of mine Mat and is about video stores (a la Blockbuster) and it’s kinda funny. “The good ole days”.

I Should Be Working but Christmas is Coming

In any event, I need to make this brief as I have some Christmas movies to watch on SKY Christmas Channel,…Oops, I mean I have a workshop to write before I call it a day.

Now I realise this share is dated just a little (2011) but Found: Lost Pictures was shared to me today (by my dear friend Heather who always shares great content with me) – so it sort of fits in with my “Thea’s Top Social Shares” sort of theme…

There are three videos – this is the first of them (The second video is here and the third video here)…I recommend you taking the 10 or 15 minutes out and watching all four. I have been inspired by them, and hope you are too.

Ready for my Next Adventure…

It’s been 7 years (exactly) since my biggest adventure ever which was driving solo across the USA meeting my site members from soyouvebeendumped.com. On that journey, I filmed the whole thing as I  called in on family and friends too. This video has definitely got me thinking about my next “adventure” – how about you? What will yours be? After watching that video, I might just fly to New York and take another road trip to Michigan this time – with my aforementioned friend Heather – who is the best friend I’ve never met!

(Update: Met Heather for the first time in 2021. And we had an amazing adventure in Scotland!)

There have been some other good social shares of late (lots of them), but after the week I’ve had, I just can’t concentrate.

I’ll leave you with this one which, if I recall correctly, was shared by my friend Andrea from Gifts From Fairies….Enjoy it.
